For my Final Post, I would like to try something different. Upon
going back and looking at my research project on Disney from high school, I
found a poem that was about Walt Disney arriving to Los Angeles in 1920’s. (Fair
warning; I am no poet, nor do I think I am) The poetry style is Limerick.
There once was a man
with big dreams from Kansas
So he sought his success
by drawing on a canvass
He arrived with a
suitcase and few bucks in his pocket
In hopes that he can
somehow find a way to make it
Los Angeles is a
place where you can take your chances.
I hope that some of my Disney knowledge rubbed off on you,
and hopefully that you found it interesting enough to read. Now, Just like in
Mickey Mouse Club, It’s time to say goodbye.
