Disney has had a long association with Tv. One of Walt Disney’s
first Television shows was “Disneyland”. “Disneyland” was a show about the park
of the same name. It gave people an inside look of Walt Disney’s magic kingdom,
Disneyland. He hosted the show, which was broadcasted on ABC, which in turn
helped fund His Park of the same name.
In the early 1960’s, the show changed names and premise and
networks. It was renamed “Walt Disney Presents: The Wonderful World of Color”
on NBC. The name change reflected the new availability of color television.
Later on, the series was renamed once more in the 1970’s as “The
Wonderful World of Disney”, which it continues to this day on ABC and other
Disney-Owned Networks.
Today, Disney Owns many TV Channels, Which include, ESPN,
ABC, The Disney Channel, A&E, and Lifetime Under ABC-Disney Television
Group.
